For our Beginner's class we offer to pay your plane fare to get to your training. We offer this through US Airways only. Look over the flights available from USAirways.com, let us know the your chosen flight, dates, and we book it from our Travel Desk (Coach ticket only).

Meals - Breakfast items are kept in the Student House, we have Lunch delivered each day to the school and each evening we all go out to one of the restaurants that can be found in our town of Williston.

Learn the Fundamentals of a Career

Your four day training will cover the following areas:

(Putting together your handtool and needles. Needle info and uses)
Eyeliner… including lash enhancements, wide liner, and regular eyeliner

Brows… including  full soft brow color & hairstrokes that are dimensional

Models... you will get hands-on access to practice your training. Each student will complete 2 whole brows, 2 eyeliners & lip liner. Models are provided for each student to start and complete the procedures.
Color theory for all areas and how to recognize skin tones

The Beginners Training session on the Simplicity Machine. The newest generation in micropigmentation technology. This State-of-the-Art instrument combines power, Compact design, and comfort. This training includes sessions on Eyebrows, Eyeliner and Lip Liner application using the Simplicity. Along with your new machine you receive a kit with pigments, needles, topical numbing and all the necessities to start your business. All needles are pre-sterilized and disposable.

A fifth day of training is available for qualified students that will include ..Areola Repigmentation, Needling, Eye Shadow and Smudgy Eyeliner… cost for extra day $975

The Beginners Training session on the KP 96 Machine. The KP96 machine combines quiet power, easy to use, disposable parts. The training session with the kp96 includes working on models doing eyeliner, brows and lips. Along with the KP 96 kit which includes the machine, power source and foot pedal you will also receive a kit with all the essentials you need to perform your procedures. This kit includes 10 pigments, needles, tips & sleeves for theKP96, topicals, pigment disks and rings, sharps container and much more.
The cost for Training on the KP96 machine
and kit is $3750 - 4 days.

Beginners Training on the Nouveau Contour Digital 1000.The Digital 1000 is quite a wonderful machine. The smooth sleek design is an off white and is made of a space age material. It is not plastic nor porous but is really beautiful in it's design. Training on this machine includes a complete kit with the  pigments, topicals, sharps container. Only one part to attach to the handpiece (the cartridge) and you’re ready!
The cost for Training on the Digital 1000 machine and kit is $5900.

We also offer a Beginners Training Program with the State-of-the-Art, German-manufactured Nouveau Contour Intelligent. It is the most precise, easy to use machine of the 21st century. Every one will do particularly great on this instrument because of its ease of use. Training on this equipment includes a complete kit with the Nouveau Contour Intelligent,  pigments, topicals, sharps container. Only one part to attach to the handpiece (the cartridge) and you’re ready to work.

The cost for Training on the Nouveau Contour Intelligent is $6400.

Getting Started with the Equipment & Supplies

Setting a good foundation is where we begin. We cover the basics to start your training.

Machines – Learn about the different types of machines used for the application of Permanent makeup and how they compare, with a special emphasis on the equipment you purchased. Needle Theory is also covered.

Hand Tools – Included in each Beginners Training Program is training on how to use the supplied hand tool... It is literally "touch the skin the color's in" when using the hand tool with the various Velvet needles.

Color Theory – Is your client a “Summer” or a “Winter”? We discuss skin tone and how pigments react with the epidermis. The skin is our canvas. Understanding Color Theory is one of the main factors in developing a successful career in Permanent Makeup using your Kolorsource pigments.

OSHA Standards – Using your Kit materials wisely and in compliance with OSHA is very important! Get the latest information on governmental regulations concerning sterilization & decontamination. Learn proper procedures in setting up & breaking down your workstations. We also cover MRI Safety & the dangers of Hepatitis C.  Bloodborne Pathogens & OSHA Standards videos are provided to the students as homework.  Discussion of these materials takes place on each of the subsequent days of the course.

Business Practices & Marketing – Now that you have your newly acquired machine - how can it become an important part of your overall business plan? Covered in this portion of the class are “Best Practices” for finding a good location & setting up your business; How to service your clients during a Pre-Procedure consultation; Networking & Marketing; the availability of support when you become a member of the Permanent Makeup community by joining a national or local PMU organization.

Aftercare – Various methods are discussed in guiding your client through their Post-Procedure phase. Learn from the accumulated experience others in your field.

Brow Design

In this session you will learn about the application of Permanent Makeup to create Eyebrows with your new tool.

Preparation - You will learn the best way to numb the brow and how to save time. We go over the needle groups that will do hair strokes or coloring in the brow.

Eyebrow Shaping – Learn the proper way to draw brows! We instruct you in the proper techniques of placement, symmetry, and choosing the best color for your client. Morphology of the face is explained (the brows are “sisters”, yet not “twins”).

Application – Through instructor demonstration, you will learn the proper stretching techniques when applying pigment to the brow. You will first practice on “synthetic” skin, but eventually will work your way to perfecting your technique on a live model.

Eyeliner Application

Eyeliner may seem to be the hardest procedure to learn on your newly acquired machine but once you know the secrets of great eyeliner techniques, it will become your favorite.

Preparation – Learn all about the eyes and the structure of the eyelid. The importance of Color selection is emphasized.

Application – We provide information on machine-based needle selection. Numbing strategies are also discussed. A comfortable client is mandatory to a successful procedure! You will learn how to properly stretch the eye so as to keep your client safe and do your work with confidence. Initial instruction will take place on “synthetic” skin. Finals will be performed on a live model.

Lipliner and Blend techniques

Lipliner can be problematic, so we provide tips on how your machine will best handle the lip and techniques that will get you through the job, with a satisfied client. I always say that lips are a process not a procedure…

Preparation – It is important to understand the anatomy and tissue of the lip. It is vascular, it is a muscle, it has a vermillion border, it has no pores and has mucosal tissue. We teach you how to prepare your client for the lip procedure during the consultation.

Application - Techniques are taught in determining what color or pigment to use. Color theory is very important. Learning proper lip stretching practices is paramount in a successful lip procedure. Proper needle selection is also discussed. As in the previous Sessions, students will hone their technique on “synthetic” skin and then graduate to a live model.

Areola Repigmentation, Needling and Accented Eyeliner techniques

This Session will give the students an edge to bring to their permanent makeup business. In today's market permament makeup and traditional makeup continues to be a very lucrative business.

Areola Repigmentation - this will enable you to cross reference with some of the plastic surgeons. A lot of the surgeons will refer their healed mastectomy clients to you. You then can repigment the breast with beautiful colors and also form with dimensional shading so it looks as tho' she has a nipple. In class we will learn to measure the breast so the areolas are the same size and the placement of both is even. Color theory is very important and we will cover all aspects of the pigments.

Needling is the newest service and we will learn the proper needles to use. A whole face can be needled or certain pesty wrinkles can be isolated. The "crows" feet around the eyes and in particular around the lips can be done. Most wrinkles will require more than 1 visit and we will go over the pricing of this service .

Accented Eyeliner can be an extra line over the regular eyeliner which is usually black . We have purple, moss, blue, and hilite colors that will look great. We also will learn smudgy eyes that is really beautiful. With pigments such as Grape, Blue, Pewter Silver and Green & Brown Smudgy we can do beautiful soft powdery look. Once you send a client out with a smudgy eyeliner, you will see how much business this will bring in. Also equally as stunning is the whole lid in the HiLit colors to give a soft powdery eye shadow look. Clients can go over their shadow with traditional makeup to change the color after it is healed. Most clients will ask "what if I want to change my look for something special" But on an everyday basis it is soft and not a harsh look.
