What's New at Boca Ta-2 What I Know is True

Joyce's List

Hi Everyone,
I thought I would give you some ideas new and proven to make your Permanent Makeup better and easier. Here are some of the products I am crazy about.

Boca Brow BuddyBOCA BROW BUDDY …$19
This brow tool is in pink for breast cancer awareness and you will surely find that using this tool will forever change the way you draw brows, instructions come with and you can always call me for more info.

NEW LIP PRIMER 1/2 oz …$29
I love this new primer because it prepares the lip for the color of your choice. We can put 2 coats of this on the lips and watch what happens. It allows all the lip pigments to go on smooth and retain color. It evens out the natural lip color and helps define the Vermillion Border that so many of us lose, especially in the bottom lip. To use: apply the primer to natural lips… 2 coats on top and 3 coats on bottom lip. Since the bottom lip is harder to take color it is recommended that you put more coats of primer on the bottom. Trust what you see as to how much primer to put on. Allow time for the oxidation of the pigment before you decide to put on more coats. Then select the color you want to use and go over the lips with 2 coats of the selected color. At this point you can put on any color you choose, you will not get an unwanted blue or purple lip.

5 SlopeNEW 5 SLOPE NEEDLES for the digital
This needle allows you to apply more coats to the lips in an easy manner. The 5 slope delivers a lot of pigment to the lip with minimal damage. You will always get smooth color on all layers. The trick to that is to count the number of times you go back and forth in each segment of the lip.

3 SlopeNEW 3 SLOPE NEEDLES for the digital
This is a fabulous needle for the eyeliner and can be used vertically to do a wide eyeliner. On the bottom liner simply use it horizontally for a thinner line. As with the 5 slope you can turn this needle over and use the ‘ballerina” #1 side of it for finer work.

Finger RingsFINGER RINGS
I love the finger rings because you have the pigment right there and don’t have to reach for it. The double ring is great because you can put your pigment in one side and the topical in the other, or put 2 different colors in it. The trick to using a ring, I have found is to pour it in the ring 5-10 min. before you use it. It has time to oxidize and won’t run all over the place. As one who talks with her hands, I came up with this idea because I got pigment all over the floor, myself and my client.

microcaineMICROCAINE
Love this topical which is just 5% lidocaine. In most cases won’t burn the eye when taking it off. It really numbs great in 20 min. The client could open their eyes without getting the burning sensation. You can use it on any area of unbroken skin.

NuBrownNUBROWN PIGMENTS
These pigments in a brown series for the brow are the best ever. Coco is a universal color that balances itself in any type skin. It is a must have. The NUBLONDE corrects gray brows completely. The best I have ever used and it is a Wonderful blonde brow color. For more intensity add a few drops Coco. The deep, medium and rich browns are just fabulous. You won’t get any unwanted tones when using these pigments. I especially love the FUDGE which is a rich med to dark brown. BRUNETTE is a great color for those with dark brown, even black brow hairs. It is dark enough without being black and will not turn. All the NUBROWNS come in 1/4 oz bottles and you can try them all. They would be 2- 1/4 oz bottles for $29

microcaineUNIVERSAL BROW PENCIL
Of course I would have to add this to my list of favorites. It is an amazing brow pencil because it turns the color that the client’s brow should be. It really takes the guess work out of deciding what pigments to use. In one day’s class I saw it turn a light blondy color and a med reddish brown and on still another client a light reddish blonde color. Apply it like any other brow pencil, not too heavy, just normal and then take bottles of brow pigment and put a dot of each of those colors on the forehead and then swirl them out. You will see that one of the pigments match better than the others. Then if you blot the pigment on the forehead with a tissue, you will see how it will look healed in the skin.

So this is my list for now, I will follow with more next month.
